NJ Lottery’s 5 Card Cash Game Officially Ends

New Jersey

Pursuant to action taken from the New Jersey Lottery Commission, the draw game 5 Card Cash will officially end, effective Monday, October 5, 2020.

Officials said the game has been suspended since May 4, 2020. The New Jersey Lottery has decided to end 5 Card Cash as a stand-alone draw game due to limited interest.

Players who bought tickets prior to the game ending will still have one year and thirty days after the valid drawing date for which the ticket was purchased to claim any prizes won.

For players who enjoyed 5 Card Cash, a similar poker-themed game of the same name will launch October 16, 2020, as a Fast Play Progressive game.

Any amount remaining in the “All In” Prize Pool or any reserve accounts at the end of the Game shall be carried forward to the Fast Play Progressive jackpot.
