A targeted narcotics investigation has led to the arrest of a Trenton man and the seizure of a large quantity of illegal drugs, according to a statement released by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.

Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey said the weeklong investigation, conducted by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration and local police in Ewing and Hamilton, focused on suspected drug distribution activity.
Authorities identified Kenyatta Pinkston, 51, of Trenton, as part of the investigation.
On March 26, 2026, detectives detained him in Ewing Township while he was inside a 2010 Hyundai Elantra.
Investigators then executed a search warrant at Pinkston’s residence on New Willow Street in Trenton, where they discovered approximately 180 grams of ecstasy, along with quantities of oxycodone, amphetamine, and Xanax pills.
Drug paraphernalia and roughly $2,300 in cash were also recovered.
Officials estimate the total street value of the seized narcotics at about $23,200, including approximately $21,000 worth of ecstasy and $2,200 in assorted pills.
Pinkston has been charged with multiple first- and second-degree narcotics offenses.
Prosecutors have filed a motion seeking to keep him detained pending trial.
The investigation remains ongoing.
