Newark's Malcom X. Shabazz High School is bringing graduation to the students! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 graduating class of about 110 students had their graduation moved to a virtual ceremony.

In the three days leading up to the of the ceremony on June 18, Principal Naseed Gifted is riding around the city on a parade float decorated like a graduation stage, and presenting graduates with their diploma cases, personalized posters, and gift bags.
