Newark Woman Wanted for Threatening Child Protection Permanency Member

Officials have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Novilette Grier, 29, of Newark, on a charge of terroristic threats in connection with an incident that occurred Mar. 30th.

According to authorities, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Grier made threats against the life of a member of Child Protection and Permanency while inside the 1st Precinct, located at 10 17th Avenue.

While police are actively searching for Grier, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing her from the streets.

This investigation is ongoing.

Officials described Grier as 5’4” tall, approximately 230 lbs., has brown eyes, black hair and has a medium brown complexion.
