Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Janavia Marable, 25, of Newark, who is wanted for an aggravated assault that occurred on August 19th.
According to authorities, at approximately 2:10 a.m., a woman exited a white Audi A5 and sprayed another woman in the face with mace. Officials say the suspect and victim know each other.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to secure a warrant for the arrest of Janavia Marable on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
While police are actively searching for Marable, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing her from the streets.
Officials say Marable is also wanted on two outstanding warrants in Clifton and Elizabeth.
