Newark Police arrested Cassandra Gause, 53, of Newark, for a robbery that occurred on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
Police responded in the 300 block of South 6th Street on a robbery call.
A 51-year-old female and her guests were robbed inside the residence after allowing a female visitor to enter.
The suspect appeared to be alone, but was immediately followed into the residence by two male suspects.
The victims were robbed at gunpoint of their cash, cell phones, video game systems, a laptop and other personal items.
As a result of their investigation, detectives have determined that Cassandra Gause is a suspect in this robbery.
A warrant for her arrest was issued.
Detectives canvassing the area of Central Avenue and 9th Street located Gause this morning and took her into custody without incident.
She was charged with robbery and conspiracy.
These are mere allegations. Gause in considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
