An overnight robbery that occurred in Newark's West Ward is under investigation by police.
According to reports, police responded to the 100 block of Oakland Terrace to take a report of a carjacking at around 11:30 p.m.
Police officers arrived at the scene were informed by the victim that an unknown suspect approached on Mount Vernon Place and robbed them while making deliveries.
The suspect sped away in an unknown direction after the robbery reports said.
There were no reports of weapons shown or no injuries reported.
The investigation remains active.
