Newark Teenager Girl Missing Since Late August

Newark Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 17-year-old Aaliyah Bryant.

Director Frage said the Newark native has been missing since August 29, 2023, and was reported absent the following day.

Aaliyah was last sighted on Chancellor Avenue's 100 block.

At the time, she was dressed in a long white T-shirt paired with black leggings and had a cross-body bag with her.

Standing at 5'3" and weighing around 300 pounds, Aaliyah is easily distinguishable by her light-brown skin tone, blonde hair, and a silver nose piercing.

Moreover, Director Frage said she is diagnosed with both Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Police emphasized the significance of public collaboration in such cases and encouraged anyone with relevant details to promptly contact the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).

Assurances have been given that every tip provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers will be treated confidentially, and informers could even be eligible for a reward.
