A Newark teen has been charged with at least two armed robberies in Bayonne, according to police.
The 17-year-old teen - whose name has not been released because he is a minor - has been accused of committing an armed robbery on 10th Street and Avenue A, Thursday shortly after 4 p.m.
On Friday at approximately 8:18 a.m., the teen committed yet another armed robbery in the area of 17th Street and Kennedy Boulevard which led to his arrest, according to police.
Police at this time could not provide any additional details like the number of victims or if anyone was injured in either of the robberies.
Thursday night, a third robbery was reported on Eighth Street and Avenue C. but police didn't say whether the teen had been charged in that incident.
