Newark Technology High School Students Keeping The Less Fortunate Warm One Scarf at a Time

Although Newark Public Schools were closed on Saturday, Technology High School Student Council gathered at Newark Penn Station to spread love and distribute scarves to the less fortunate for their short break from school.

Student Council officials say this is the organization's second year working on this project where Student Council members spearheaded the drive for scarves at the school and collected close to 100 scarves.

“They wanted to provide the less fortunate with scarves to help keep them warm during the cold months and also let them know that Technology Cares and want spread love for those who are less fortunate" officials said.
