South Ward Councilman Patrick Council is inviting Newark residents to come together for a festive afternoon as the city prepares for the Annual South Ward Winter Wonderland Festival.
According to information provided by Councilman Council’s office, the celebration will take place Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Families and community members are encouraged to gather along Bergen Street, between Custer Avenue and Shephard Avenue, where the corridor will be transformed into a holiday-themed winter experience.
The event, supported by Mayor Ras J. Baraka and the City of Newark, promises seasonal cheer, activities, and a safe space for neighbors to enjoy the holiday spirit together.
Residents from across Newark are welcome to attend.
