Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Newark Police Director Eugene Venable announced today that the victim killed in the homicide yesterday at 195 First Street (Garden Spires Housing Complex) in Newark has been identified as Andre Green, Jr., 28, of Ewing.
According to authorities, Green was shot at 7:40 p.m. Monday evening was pronounced dead at 8:07 pm.
The investigation is active and ongoing. Authorities said at this time no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
