Emergency personnel in Newark responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a scooter early Friday morning that left at least one person injured.
The crash occurred shortly after 2 a.m. in the area of 232 Norfolk Street, where firefighters and EMS found a vehicle and scooter involved in a collision.
At least one person suffered injuries that were reported as non-life-threatening.
EMS transported one patient from the scene to University Hospital for treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
