A teenage girl who hasn't been seen in several days has police in Newark on alert.
According to family members, **16-years-old Giovanna Decanio** hasn't been seen since 8:30 a.m. on Friday January 6th, 2016.
Giovanna is a student at Great Oaks Legacy Charter School that is located at 17 Crawford Street and was last seen wearing her school uniform with a white jacket family members said.
Giovanna is Brazillian and lives in Newark's Ironbound section, weighs about 125 pounds, and is 5'6" tall.
