Newark Police officials announced the arrest of Mr. Melber Y. Tinitana-Pinzon, 36, of Newark for an incident of illegal dumping on Wednesday.

According to a statement released by Newark Police, members of the Illegal Dumping Task Force observed Pinzon pull up to 35 Grafton Avenue, The Cat Glass Company, and dump several plastic bags of garbage, cardboard boxes, and pieces of styrofoam into the company’s dumpster which is in front of that location.

Officers immediately arrested Pinzon then charged him with illegal dumping and illegal transport of solid waste.

Police say Pizon's vehicle was subsequently towed and is subject to forfeiture.

These charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
