The Newark Brick City Lions Pop Warner 'midget unlimited' football team has won the Eastern Regional Pop Warner Championships and are headed to Disney World to compete for a national championship. The midget cheerleaders were also victorious in their cheer competition and will compete for the second consecutive time in Disney World.
The Lions defeated the Bergen County All-Stars 14-12 in a close contest this past Saturday at Camden Catholic HS to maintain their 11-0 perfect record.
The 2014 Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer & Dance Championships will take place from Saturday, December 6th through Saturday, December 13th at ESPN Wide World of Sports™ Complex in Orlando, FL
