Newark Police Seeks Public Assistance in Locating Man Wanted for Questioning in Shooting

Newark Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in locating Mr.  Daquan Mccormick, 34, who is wanted for questioning related to a shooting that took place on November 8. 

According to Newark Police, the shooting incident occurred around 12:12 a.m. in the 300 block of South Orange Avenue.AdPolice officers responded to the scene and, during their investigation, found six 9mm cartridges, a set of keys, and a black jacket.

Mccormick, identified as a person of interest in this case, is described as being 5’11” tall, weighing over 250 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair, and a medium complexion.

Director Fragé of the Newark Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding McCormick’s whereabouts to come forward.
