Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the two male suspects in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on Saturday, September 6.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., stated that at approximately 7 a.m., police responded to Dickerson Street and North 6th Street on a call of an auto burglary.
A victim reported that their Cash App card was declined after attempting to make an online purchase, Newark officials say.
According to Newark officials, the victim checked the card’s recent transactions and discovered that the card had recently been used by someone else at a convenience store in the North Ward.
The victim’s card was missing from inside the victim’s parked vehicle, which may have been left unlocked, Newark police stated.
Newark authorities say other stolen items from inside the vehicle included the victim’s driver’s license, a second Cash App card, an Insta card, a Grub Hub card, a vehicle battery pack starter, and clothing.

Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the identity of either of these suspects to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
