Newark officials are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager who was reported missing on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

According to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., David O. Clark, 17, of Newark, was last seen at approximately 1 p.m. in the 200 block of Hawthorne Avenue.
David is described as 5-foot-1, weighing about 115 pounds, with black hair worn in twists and brown eyes.
At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a black Carhartt jacket, black Nike sweatpants, black-and-red Jordan 3 sneakers, and a black ski mask.
He was also carrying a black book bag.
Authorities say David has been diagnosed with ADD and ODD and may be traveling toward the Perth Amboy area.
