Newark Police Seek the Publics' Assistance with Identifying Robbery Suspect

Newark Police are seeking the publics' assistance with identifying an individual wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred on Saturday, August 15.

A robbery occurred on the 400 block of East Kinney Street in Newark. The suspect participated in a robbery where a male victim was approached by two Hispanic males, armed with handguns, and the victim’s personal belongings were taken.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion wearing a dark-colored short sleeve shirt with white lettering on the front, blue jeans, a baseball cap worn backward, and dark-colored shoes.

Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the publics' help in quickly identifying this suspect as part of this investigation. Newark Police urge anyone with information about the suspect to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
