According to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, the incident happened on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at approximately 10:11 a.m. inside The Print Post, a commercial printer located in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

Police said the victim had just completed a transaction and received his receipt but realized his credit card was missing.

While he was waiting to speak with the cashier, surveillance video showed a man taking the card from the counter.

Investigators said the suspect later used the stolen card to make two purchases totaling $251.98 — one with Nike.com and another with FRG*Fanatics.com, a sports merchandise retailer.
