Police in Newark seek the public’s help in identifying the below pictured suspect in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday, September 27th.
According to police, at approximately 4 a. m., officers responded to North 9th Street near 6th Avenue on a robbery call.
Police said a black male, armed with a handgun, exited a black pickup truck and approached a man walking in the area. The suspect demanded the victim’s cash and personal items at gunpoint.
Police said the suspect is described as approximately 6-feet tall and 200 lbs., with short black hair and wore gray hooded sweatshirt and gray sweat pants.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from city streets.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
