Newark police seek the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a woman a gunpoint on the early morning of May 5.
The victim was returning to her third-floor apartment on the 200 block of Roseville Ave when a man came out of from underneath the stairwell and demanded the woman’s purse and jewelry. He took the cash out the bag and a costume ring, then fled into the backyard of the property.
