Newark Police Report 19 Fugitive Arrests in Latest Warrant Roundup

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé reports the arrest of 19 adults who were wanted for outstanding warrants as part of the Newark Police Division’s Crime Reduction Initiative. 

“I am grateful for the commitment of the members of the Newark Police Division’s S.W.A.T., Major Crimes Division, and Fugitive Apprehension Team to ensuring that our city’s streets remain safe,” Director Fragé said.

“I also thank the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and U.S. Marshals Service for their partnership in this ongoing violent crime reduction operation.” 

Between October 10 and 11, 2023, the Newark Police Division effected the arrests of the 19 individuals listed below:  

“

  • Jacinto M. GutamaGutama, 35, was wanted for aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He was arrested in the 200 block of Park Avenue.
  • Kuan Muhammad, 56, was wanted for aggravated assault.  He was arrested at 31 Green Street.
  • Zayood E. Ingram, 27, was wanted for robbery and conspiracy. He was arrested in Kresgeville, PA.
  • Muhammad Subhanallah, 42, was wanted for an aggravated assault shooting, conspiracy, weapon possession, and criminal mischief. He was arrested in Summit, NJ. 
  • Fard Cooper, 19, was wanted for an aggravated assault shooting, weapon possession, and criminal mischief. He was arrested at Lindsley Avenue in Newark. 
  • Javier Abreu-Brito, 39, was wanted for aggravated assault, weapon possession, and endangering a victim. He was arrested at Parker Street in Newark.
  • Wadya R. Williams, 44, wanted for CDS possession, CDS possession with intent to distribute, CDS distribution within 1,000 ft. of a school, CDS distribution within 500 ft. of certain public property, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arrested at 31 Green Street in Newark.
  • Laron Richardson, 25, was wanted for robbery, weapon possession, and conspiracy. He was arrested at South 20th Street in Newark. 
  • Geneva C. Vidtor, 23, was wanted for aggravated assault and weapon possession. She was arrested at Orchard Street in Newark. 
  • Darryl M. Williamson, 30, was wanted for attempted murder, aggravated assault (shooting), weapon possession, criminal mischief, and prostitution. He was arrested at N. 6th Street in Newark.
  • Catalina A. Guerra-Millao, 24, was wanted for aggravated assault and resisting arrest. She was arrested at West End Avenue in Newark. 
  • Kyle Andrews, 49, was wanted for aggravated assault, weapon possession, and terroristic threats. He was arrested at 31 Green Street in Newark.
  • Hugo Pereira-Oliveira, 21, was wanted for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. He was arrested at Parkhurst Street in Newark. 
  • Alonzo Anderson, 36, was wanted for unlawful possession of a weapon. He was arrested in Lambertville, NJ. 
  • Alsharif May, 31, was wanted for CDS distribution, CDS distribution within 500 ft. of a public housing complex, and conspiracy. He was arrested in Morristown, NJ.
  • Jermaine Rogers, 40, was wanted for robbery and weapon possession. He was arrested in Irvington, NJ.
  • Maria Peguero Carvajal, 31, was wanted for terroristic threats, criminal mischief, simple assault, and weapon possession. She was arrested in New Milford, NJ. 
  • Valdir Fagundir, 48, was wanted for aggravated assault and weapon possession. He was arrested at Jackson Street in Newark. 
  • Careem Watson, 42, was wanted for aggravated assault and weapon possession. He was arrested at Baldwin Avenue in Newark.
