Police in Newark swiftly recovered a vehicle that was reportedly carjacked at a location in the city on Friday night.
According to reports, police put out a be on the lookout for a silver 2005 BMW 525i that was carjacked in the teen block of Garibaldi Avenue before 12:30 a.m.
The vehicle had a reported NJ license plate number "L89-HJF" according to reports.
Police recovered the unoccupied vehicle near a cemetery nearby.
The suspect used a weapon during the carjacking according to reports.
There were no physical injuries reported.
