Newark authorities are working to determine the location of a shooting that left two men injured Tuesday evening.
According to information released by the Newark Police Department, officers were called to St. Michael’s Medical Center, located at 111 Central Avenue, at approximately 5:40 p.m. on July 15.
Two adult male victims had arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
Officials said both men were reported to be in stable condition. One of the victims was later transferred to University Hospital for further care.
As of Tuesday night, investigators had not yet located the exact scene of the shooting.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, and no additional details have been made public at this time.
