There were no injuries reported for a shots fired incident that occurred in a newark neighborhood on Sunday morning.
Police were called to the vicinity of 544 Central Avenue at around 5 a.m. to investigative reports of shots fired that rang out in the area.
Units arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after a search of the area, officers did not locate any victims according to reports.
Several shell casings was located on the South 10th Street side of Central Avenue according to authorities.
The motive for the shooting remians under investgiation.
