There were non-life threatening injuries reported for one person involved in a car crash on Sunday morning in Newark.
Police say the collision took place at the intersection of Clinton Avenue and Lincon Park just before 4:55 a.m.
Units arrived and found that the driver of a car somehow lost control and slammed into a pole then stopped on the island at the intersection.
Newark utility crews were called to the scene to fixed the damaged pole.
There were no other injuries reported.
