An armed suspect took cash and a purse from a man and a woman during an armed robbery on a street in Newark Tuesday night.
According to police, the incident happened in the 70's block of Hayes Street at approximately 9 p.m. where police were notified of an armed robbery in progress at that location.
Upon arrival, officers found the victims who reported the robbery but did not sustain physical injuries.
The suspects remain at-large and Newark Police have launched an investigation.
