A confirmed armed robbery of a convenience store has police in Newark on the search for a suspect.
According to preliminary reports, the robbery unfolded at the Rodriguez Grocery store located in the 100 block of South 8th Street at approximately 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Two black males reportedly entered the establishment armed with a gun and announced a robbery according to reports.
The suspects took an unknown amount of proceeds before fleeing from the scene northbound on South 8th Street reports said.
One of the male suspects wore all black with a bandana and had a black handgun during the holdup.
There were no physical injuries reported.
The suspects remain at-large.
