Police in Newark are on the search for a suspect wanted for an armed carjacking that occurred in Newark's South Ward.
Officers were called to the intersection of South 15th Street and Clinton Avenue to take a report of a carjacking.
Units arrived at the scene and were told a black male suspect approached with a gun and took the victim's 2-door Chevy Camaro before 5 p.m.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "L25-EZN."
There were no injuries reported.
