An armed robbery at gunpoint of a gas station in Newark has authorities investigation.
Police responded to the armed robbery report shortly before 9 p.m. at the Luke Oil Gas Station located in the 1000 block of McCarter Highway at Bridge Street.
Units arriving to the scene locate an attendant that reported being robbed at gunpoint by two male suspects who took an unknown amount of cash before fleeing the scene in a dark colored of blue Lincoln Town Car.
Both men were armed with weapons according to attendant.
It a possibly related incident, police were called to the 20's block of North 12th Street of an armed robbery in progress where officers arrived to find the victim reported being robbed by about 2-3 black males all armed with guns.
According to the vicim, the suspects exited a blue colored Mercedes SUV before taking personal possessions.
There were no physical injuries reported.
