Newark Police are currently investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Thursday night in the North Ward.
The incident took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. when police were dispatched to the intersection of 7th Avenue and Clifton Avenue in response to reports of a car crash.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders found two vehicles involved in a collision, with one of the cars having a trapped occupant.
In addition, one of the cars had overturned during the crash.
Fortunately, no severe injuries were immediately reported, and all involved individuals were attended to by medical personnel.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.
