Police are looking for several men who attempted to carjack a person last night (Friday) in a Newark neighborhood.
Officers responded to the teens block of Nye Avenue at around 10 p.m. after receiving reports of a carjacking at that location.
Upon arrival, police canvassed the area for a dark colored Audi SUV occupied by three black males- One light skinned the others with dread- who attempted to force a person out of a vehicle according to reports.
The suspects reported were occupying a vehicle that was reported stolen in Newark on Thursday night with a reported NJ license plate number "W51-CMU".
There were no weapons reportedly shown.
