Newark Police Arrests 11 Adults for Outstanding Warrants

Authorities in Newark reported the arrest of 11 wanted adults as part of the Police Division’s ongoing crime reduction operation.

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé stated that Brianna Bradley, 19, of Kearney, was arrested on February 7, 2024, after a warrant was issued for her arrest on charges of aggravated assault and weapon possession following a January 15, 2024, altercation with a woman in Newark.AdHerbert DaSilva Pereira, 42, of Newark, was arrested on February 7, 2024, as he was also wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on August 29, 2023, at Brill Street.

Jeffrey J. McNair, 38, of Newark, was arrested on February 6, 2024, as he was wanted in connection with an incident of eluding and obstruction of the administration of the law that occurred on December 22, 2023, at Irvine Turner Boulevard and Spruce Street.

Karim Thomas, 20, of Newark, was arrested on February 7, 2024, as he was wanted for a warrant issued on January 23, 2024, by the Jersey City Municipal Court.

Tony W. Forde, 49, of Brooklyn, was arrested on February 6, 2024, as he was wanted for multiple outstanding warrants issued by the East Orange Municipal Court.

Alquan Roberts, 24, of Irvington, was arrested on February 5, 2024, as he was wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on July 2, 2023, in the 300 block of West Market Street. He faces charges of robbery and weapon possession.

Alcion N. Sobers, 27, of East Orange, was arrested on February 7, 2024, as she was wanted in connection with an incident of credit card theft at Longfellow Avenue in Newark. She faces charges of credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, and general theft and computer criminal activity.AdTyquan Jones, 39, of Newark, was arrested on February 7, 2024, as he was wanted in connection with an assault that occurred on November 26, 2023. He faces charges of aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and simple assault.

Fernando Quinones, 38, of Newark, was arrested on February 7, 2024, as he was wanted for a warrant issued on September 15, 2023, by the Edison City Municipal Court.

Jessica Washington, 39, of Newark, was arrested on February 8, 2024, as she was wanted in connection with an altercation with a female victim on January 23, 2024. She faces charges of harassment, aggravated assault, and weapon possession.

Tommy Figueroa, 30, of Newark, was arrested on February 7, 2024, as he was wanted in connection with an altercation with a male victim at Kossuth Street on January 11, 2024. He faces a charge of aggravated assault.

According to officials, these charges are merely accusations. This suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
