Newark Police Arrest Three for Criminal Mischief in Graffiti Vandalism

Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara reports the arrest of Ezra Brauser, 21, of Brooklyn, Trevor C. Pritchard, 22, of Wantage, and Joshua B. Medrano, 21, of Haledon, for an incident of graffiti that occurred last night.

According to police, at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Newark Police Division’s Environmental Graffiti Vice Crimes Task Force patrolling the area of Roanoke Avenue, near the Route 1 underpass, observed three males spray-painting the underpass wall using cans of spray paint.

Police said that the three males, Brauser, Pritchard and Medrano, were immediately arrested. Each suspect faces a charge of criminal mischief.
