Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager.
According to information released by Newark officials, 15-year-old Eduardo Barraza was last seen on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the area of 600 Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard.
Eduardo is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, and black sweatpants.
Authorities say he is known to frequent the area of Summer Avenue and Highland Avenue.
Director Miranda is urging anyone with information about Eduardo’s whereabouts to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
