Newark city officials are reporting that the water system repairs by the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission, which began last night, have been successfully completed.
According to a statement released by officials, repairs to an 84” wide and 90’ long pipe were made by the Water Commission overnight.
Residents may resume normal water usage and there are no evudence of contamination in the water officials said.
