A weapon was found inside a stolen vehicle responsible for crashing into a police cruiser and injuring two officers Tuesday morning.

The collision happened around 2 a.m. in the 60's block of West End Avenue.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the driver of a stolen vehicle plowed into a marked police cruiser, causing the T-bone crash.

Two officers were taken to University Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries. They are currently in stable condition.

Police arrested the driver and searched the car, which revealed a loaded weapon.
