Newark authorities found a man suffering multiple stab wounds in a section of the North Ward Thursday night.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., police responded to reports of an injured person near 152 Bloomfield Avenue.
When officers arrived, they requested EMS to rush to the scene after finding the victim bleeding from his torso.
Police investigating the scene searched for a suspect, but no arrests were immediately reported.
The motive for the attack is under investigation and the victim's condition was not reported as fatal at this time.
