Police in Newark are investigating a stabbing that seriously injured a man in the early afternoon on Thursday.
Police reported that at approximately 12:15 p.m., they received several 911 calls concerning an injured man in the 20's block of Clifton Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a man who was stabbed in the chest. He was then rushed to University Hospital in critical condition.
The investigation is active and ongoing and there are currently no suspects reported.
