There were no injuries reported for a shots-fired incident that occurred in a Newark North Ward community on Friday evening.
According to police, residents in the teens block of Van Wagenen Street contacted police after they heard loud popping noises at around 10 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene and requested a crime scene unit after finding multiple shell casings in the area.
There were no injuries reported and the suspect remains at-large.
