Police in Newark are investgiating a reported robbery that occurred in the city's North Ward on Wednesday night.
According to police, at approximately 9:20 p.m., the victim entered the 2nd precinct and reported being robbed in the vicinity of Heller Parkway and Highland Avenue.
Police say the victim stated that two black males -dressed in all black- approached armed with guns and demanded personal possessions.
The victim said the suspects ran from the scene towards the light rail station.
Police say one of the suspects had a blad head and both suspects produced weapons during the incident.
NJ Transit Police and The Essex County Sherriff's Department were notified. There were no physical injuries reported.
