Police in Newark are on the search for two suspects who reportedly took a vehicle from a person on Christmas morning in Newark's North Ward.
According to reports, police were called to the 100 block of Peabody Place shortly before 2 a.m. to take a report of a car theft that occurred at that location.
The victim informed units arriving at the scene that a black male and a Hispanic male took their silver 2002 Acura TL then sped away from the scene towards Belleville.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "R31-GFT".
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
