As summer comes, the North Jersey region will bask in a beautiful day filled with sunshine and comfortable temperatures.

National Weather Service meteorologists said today's weather promises to be delightful, with mostly sunny skies and a high of around 87 degrees.

A light southwest wind of 5 mph is expected to shift to the west, reaching speeds of 6 to 11 mph by the morning.

According to forecasters, the day begins with a touch of humidity, measuring at 70%, but it is not expected to hinder the overall enjoyment of the day.

Instead, the gentle breeze and abundant sunshine will create a perfect blend of warmth and comfort, making it an ideal time to venture outdoors and engage in various recreational activities.

With the rising temperatures, many are expected to flock to parks, beaches, and local attractions to soak up the sun and relish the pleasant weather.

As the day progresses, forecasters said the westward shift of the wind will bring a refreshing change, providing relief from the afternoon heat.

This moderate wind will add a touch of coolness to the air, making outdoor activities even more enjoyable.

So, as Newark and the North Jersey region bask in this picture-perfect summer day, residents are encouraged to make the most of the weather and enjoy the myriad of outdoor opportunities available.
