Following a picture-perfect Memorial Day, residents across Newark and the North Jersey region are enjoying another beautiful start to the day, but changes are on the way.

As of early Tuesday morning, temperatures in downtown Newark are a comfortable 61 degrees with light breezes making for a refreshing commute to work.

While it’s slightly cooler in parts of the region, such as Morristown, Haledon, Sussex County, and Montvale, where readings hover around 46 degrees, overall, it’s shaping up to be another enjoyable day across the Garden State.

According to the National Weather Service, today will be partly sunny with a high near 76 degrees.

Winds will be calm in the morning, picking up slightly out of the south by the afternoon.

NWS forecasters say tonight  is expected to be cloudy with a low around 57 degrees, serving as a quiet lead-in before the next round of rain arrives on Wednesday, potentially dampening midweek plans.

Soak up the sunshine while it lasts and enjoy the calm before the showers, New Jersey.

Have a great Tuesday!
