Authorities in Newark report that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Calvin B. Shinholster, 56, of Newark, on charges of terroristic threats and weapon possession in connection with an incident that occurred on Wednesday, May 10.
According to Newark Police, a man was approached by Shinholster, who was holding a machete, on Silver Street following an altercation with someone Shinholster knows.
Detectives investigating this incident identified Shinholster as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
He is described as 5’9” tall with a dark complexion, black and gray hair, and brown eyes.
