Newark Man Wanted on Terroristic Threat Charges

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Joshua Pena, 23, of Newark, who is wanted for making terroristic threats during an incident that occurred on Feb. 14th.

According to authorities, at approximately 3 p.m., a man displayed a knife, chased and threatened another man following a quarrel in the North Ward.

Detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify Joshua Pena as a suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.

While police are actively searching for Pena, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from the streets.

Police describe Pena as 5’10” tall, 200 lbs., has brown hair and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo on his chest and one on his right arm.
