Police in Newark reports that officers are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male wanted in connection to a sexual assault that occurred on Wednesday.
Police say the victim accepted a ride home with the suspect after they left a mutual location when the suspect stopped at 9th Street and South Orange Avenue then produced a gun and raped the victim.
Detectives assigned to the Special Victims Unit investigating this complaint have developed sufficient evidence identifying the pictured male as the suspect in this incident according to authorities.
