Newark Man Wanted for Allegedly Cutting Surveillance Camera

Police in Newark seeks the public’s help in locating Mr. Angel Rodriguez, 32, of Newark, who they say is wanted in connection with an incident of criminal mischief that occurred between Monday, July 9th and Thursday, July 12th, 2018.

According to a statement released by police, the victim reported that the cables to their property video surveillance cameras were cut and damaged at a multi-family building in the area of Stone Street and 6th Avenue.

Police say detectives investigating this incident are seeking to question Angel Rodriguez and described him as 6’2” tall weighing around 195 lbs. with green eyes.

Police say, Rodriguez, also known as Gabriel Cintron, is also wanted for Contempt of Court on outstanding warrants.

While police are actively seeking to question Rodriguez, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him.

This investigation is continuing.
